The Natural Resource Women Platform (NRWP) is pleased to share its 2025 Yearly Newsletter, highlighting a year of grassroots organizing, collective advocacy, women’s leadership, and community-driven action across Liberia.
From strengthening Indigenous seed systems and women-led communal farming to advancing land rights, supporting women environmental defenders, promoting economic empowerment, and amplifying grassroots voices at national, regional, and international platforms, our work throughout 2025 reflects the power of women organizing for change.
This edition captures the stories, achievements, and collective efforts of rural women, Indigenous women, women farmers, and Women Human Rights Defenders working to protect their land, defend natural resources, strengthen livelihoods, and advance climate and environmental justice.
As we look ahead, NRWP remains committed to building a stronger grassroots feminist movement where women exercise their rights, influence decisions, and lead the struggle for a just and environmentally sustainable Liberia.
